Tuesday MLB Playoff Picks 10/4

We're betting winning all 4 games today/tonight, I am 100% certain that these will hit. Lets get paid.

1) Texas +1.5 at Tampa Bay

Honestly, I don't know what to make of the Rays. Sure they are hot right now, and everyone knows momentum is key down the stretch, but I'm not sold. Quite frankly, the Rangers are just the flat out better team, and actually are HOTTER than the Rays. Rangers were 9-1 in their last ten to close out the season, but that gets forgotten because the Rays pulled off an absolute miracle to make the playoffs. This game is in Tampa but I don't think that will matter at all considering no one in Tampa even knows they have a professional baseball team. The whole fan base is retired Yankee fans. I can't see the Rays winning this one, and by the end of the day, the Rangers will be the first team to advance to the ALCS.

This slut will be doing lines off Hamilton's dick by 9pm

RANGERS +1.5

2) Philadelphia at St. Louis +1.5

I get it, everyone loves the Phillies. Can't blame you, their staff is dirty. Not gonna argue there. However, HOWEVER, the Phils absolutely stumbled into the playoffs, I know they didn't need to win those games, but thats no way to enter the postseason. They got swept by the Nationals a week before the season started. There is no excuse for that. With Hamels on the mound, I love the Cardinals chances tonight. I understand that Hamels was good in the playoffs that one time. I understand. But I love this matchup for King Pujols and Matt Holliday tonight against this lefty. I'll take the 1.5 runs, but I could honestly see the Cards just flat out winning this one at home. Plus, Jamie Garcia is no schmuck. He's had 2 starts against the Phils this season, pitching 15 innings and giving up just 1 run. His career against them is 2-1, 1.20 era, holding them to a .178 batting average. If you can't do the math, find the nearest Asian and have him do it for you. Stats don't lie. Cards all day.

CARDINALS +1.5

3) Milwaukee -1.5 at Arizona

Arizona is really thin in the rotation once you get passed Ian Kennedy, and I'm not sure Josh Collmenter can contain the big bats of the Brewers. Not sure giving ANY team a run and a half is that wise, so I might just moneyline this, you should too. But I love Shaun Marcum this year. The best part is, this cat is absolutely lights out on the road. He is 5-4, 4.81 era at home compared to 8-3, 2.21 on the road this season. This guy is a gamer and will get this team into the NLCS tonight. Start loading the clubhouse with champagne.

4) New York +1.5 at Detroit

The grand finale of my picks, I am so fired up for this one. So many story lines here. Former high school teammate of mine goes up against the most inconsistant pitcher in the Yankees long and storied history. As much as I like to see Porcello succeed, he is NOT built for a big game like this. Not yet at least. The guys is only 22 years old and I think he folds under pressure against the Yanks lineup tonight. Yeah I said it. I mean, Verlander was absolutely disgusting last night and the Bombers still put up 4 against him. They will definitely get to Porcello for twice that many tonight. Of course there is the scary question mark.. AJ Fucking Burnett. I gotta be honest, I've hated on him all year but I really feel like tonight AJ comes out and gives you one of those "where-the-fuck-have-you-been-all-season" type of performances. He's going to be getting fired up, pounding his chest, yelling after a huge strikeout to end an inning, which only fuels his confidence and makes him as productive as possible. If he gets in trouble early, Hughes probably comes out of the bullpen and bails him out. Even if AJ gives up 6 through 5 innings, the Yanks will put up enough runs against Porcello to pick up their boy. You guys should take the spread here, I, however, will be moneylining the shit out of this. Go big or go home. #AJBurnasty

YANKEES +1.5 or -105 ml
