Just heard that this game 5 tonight at Yankee Stadium is the first time since 2004 that the Yanks have hosted a "do-or-die" game. That just blew my mind. Anyway, this game is going to be incredible. If you are a Yankee fan. Despite the fact that Nova is a young buck, he seems to have the poise and confidence to be able to pitch a big spot, so far the biggest game of the season for the Yanks. Love that Nova is getting a full rest here too and not pitching on 3 days rest. With a full rest, Nova is 9-0 with a 2.3 era. Thats INCREDIBLE. Thats the fucking shit I'm talking about. I have one of those feelings that all of the following will happen:
1) Cano will have at least 1 extra base hit tonight
2) Arod will have a MONSTER game. Just got one of those feelings. 3-4, 2 doubles and 4 rbis.
3) Granderson will have a clutch RBI towards the end of the game.
