COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKS FOR SATURDAY 10/1

Thank God its Friday. Baseball playoffs start tonight which is honestly amazing. So happy they are starting this thing right away and not waiting a week. Picks for tonights game will be posted later. For now I want to get my college picks on the board so you guys can place your bets today.

There are 4 games that I feel really confident about this week. I'm fucking en fuego on Thursday nights and I'm hoping to bring that momentum and general wizardry of predicting college games into this Saturday's games. Some great matchups this week in the SEC and ACC but I am going to stay away from some of the big matchups because I don't love the spreads. Here are my picks:

1) Texas Tech at Kansas OVER/UNDER 66.5

Anyone who watched college football knows these two schools score a shit ton of points and play zero defense. Although 66.5 sounds like a lot, I'm guessing it will be at 45 by HALFTIME. This is a fucking lock. Texas Tech has covered the over in all of their games this season. Kansas has covered the over in all of their games this season. This is the perfect storm. If you don't take this game you are either a) retarded or b) don't like money. Do the right thing. Lock it up.

OVER 66.5

2) Toledo at Temple OVER/UNDER 50

Couldn't be more opposite to the game above. Neither of these teams score that many points. I know Temple went off on Maryland but that was a fluke and a half. Toledo and Temple both have covered the under in every single one of their games so far this season. This game should be a 21-14 game and the under should be a good pick here. Not gonna argue against stats. If a virgin walks into a bar and he has gotten laid 0% of his life, I'm going to bet that he doesn't get laid that night either. Same thing with this game, if neither team has covered the over this season, I'm going to bet that the trend continues on Saturday.

UNDER 50

3) Air Force at Navy -3.5

These games are always closer than you think, and I know Navy is really hard to defend against but Air Force for whatever reason always plays tough in these inter-military games. Gotta be honest though, I think Navy is really fucking good this year, having almost upset South Carolina earlier this season. Navy is at home and the place should be rockin'. Most importantly, Air Force is 0-3 ATS this season while Navy is 3-0 ATS. Like, how could you take Air Force? Lets go with Navy and get paid.

NAVY -3.5

4) Georgia Tech -10 at NC State

NC State blows. No other way to describe them. Got demolished by an average Cincinnati team last Thursday while Georgia Tech leads the nation in just about every offensive category. 10 point spread on this is nothing, I'd take it at 14 to be honest. Georgia Tech will easily cover this and will make it rain, probably drop 40something against the Wolfpack. Stat time: Georgia Tech is 3-0 this season ATS, while NC State is 0-4. Stats don't lie. Smart bets win. Winning gets you money. Money gets you strippers and drugs. Strippers and drugs get you a motherfuckin good time. So transitive property clearly demonstrates that smart bets correlate to a good time.

GEORGIA TECH -10

All-American JT MLB PLAYOFF BRACKET

NFL BETTING CHEAT SHEET

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PICK

#16 South Florida at Pittsburgh +3

I don't get it. I don't understand it one bit. How is South Florida #16 in the country? Because they beat an overrated and under-enthused Notre Dame team week 1? Or was it the fact that they beat Ball State? Or maybe it was game where the beat up on poor little Florida A&M. Wait I know, it was definitely the win against UTEP where they only won because of two 4th quarter touchdowns to seal it. Maybe a combination of all 4 wins made them the #16 team in college football. I don't buy it, I don't get it.

Pittsburgh has lost two very tough games in a row, a nailbiter against Notre Dame in which they lost 15-12, and a loss against Iowa in which they were up 27-10 going into the 4th quarter. And Iowa is better than any team USF has played. What that stat tells me is that Pitts main problem is closing games, an issue that should be fixed with the enthusiasm of the home crowd on a Thursday night.

And like I said last week before Cincinnati absolutely demolished NC State at home, Thursday nights in college are absolutely ruthless---like mixing Friday and Saturday into one giant fuck fest. These kids are going to be absolutely hammered and loud as shit, in the hopes of knocking off a ranked team at home.

For those that love Against The Spread statistics, lets break it down:

1. USF is 1-6 ATS in their last 7, and 0-6 on Thursdays.

2. Pitt is 10-1 in their last 11 following a straight up loss, and 12-4 in their last 16 Big East games.

3. USF is 2-5 ATS as the road favorite in their last 7.

Can someone actually make an honest case for USF? Me neither. Lets go Pitt.

Pittsburgh +3

MLB for 9/28

I gotta be honest, at this point in the season, I wouldn't consider ANY game a lock. Its too hard to decide who is trying, who isn't trying, who needs the win, who is going to collapse, etc. So I can't honestly say there are any locks tonight. Except these three games. Get out a pen and write these down.

1) Phillies at Braves -1.5

I know the Braves have been sucking more cock than Kim Kardashian at a rap concert, but Lowe ain't pitching tonight. Lowe has something against me and has lost 5 straight games just so that he can see the Lock City Sports empire crumble. Fortunately, our good buddy Tim Hudson has the ball tonight for Atlanta and has a 2.39 era at home. Even more appealing, he doesn't have to go up against Lee or Halladay, but rather Joe "Shmo" Blanton. Braves should be able to rip at least 5 or 6 off that joke, and I fully expect Hudson to give up 1 maybe 2 runs tonight in a must-win game in front of the home crowd. Hate giving runs to the Phils, but giving a run and a half ain't bad considering the pitching matchup tonight.

Braves -1.5

2) Cardinals -1.5 at Houston

Just like Atlanta, it doesn't really look like St. Louis wants this wildcard either. Fell behind the 56-104 Astros 5-0 in the 4th inning, luckily won the game, but just didn't look sharp. But they have their ace on the mound tonight too, Chris Carpenter. Gotta expect him to come out there and get the job done. He's going against Brett Myers who has won his last 4 starts, but I don't find him nearly as threatening as his wife does. #wifebeater

Get a load of this fucking wiener. Clever sign though. Go Cards

Cardinals -1.5

3) Boston -1.5 at Baltimore

Quite frankly I am going to bet against Boston until they prove me wrong. Last night they may have won but sure as shit didn't cover, thanks to their shaky bullpen. Love how the O's are playing these days--loose and alive--and they should be able to cover this spread, perhaps even win. I know Lester is Boston's ace but the last time he acted like an ace I'm pretty sure the NFL lockout was still taking place. (Did that rhyme?)  He's also going on 3 days rest which won't be in his favor tonight. Do I feel good about this game? Eh..not really. I feel motherfucking great. Lock this up and lets make the Red Sox collapse that much sweeter.

And then we go ham

Orioles +1.5

Tuesday, September 27, 2011

Does ANYONE want this NL wildcard!?

Cards go down 5-0 going into the 4th, just tied it at 5. Braves are in the bottom of the 9th down 7-0 to the Phils.

Hey Derek Lowe, did I try to fuck your wife or something? Are you doing this to spite me? Listen I know my baseball record isn't spectacular this month, but lets just totally buttfuck this season to spite me, great idea bud. Doesn't it seem like they are losing on purpose at this point so LockCitySports.com falls on its face?

Fear not. Derek Lowe can't sink this ship. This is the TITANIC! Ok, horrible analogy, but if this bitch is gonna sink, by all means I am NOT letting Lowe be the iceberg.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Let's see if the Orioles can make this shit interesting.

In the mean time, lets take a look at what Derek Lowe looks like these days:

That my friends, is the most recent mugshot of Derek Lowe.

MLB Picks for 9/27

Shits getting wild here as we wind down the baseball season. Two games stuck out to me that I cannot wait to bet on. Get fired up people.

1) Phillies at Braves +1.5

Oswalt is going up against Derek Lowe in a game that the Braves NEED to win in order to keep their wildcard lead with Cardinals. Philly does not need this game at all but the Braves are clinging on life support and cannot afford to lose this. Love the fact that the Braves get a 1.5 runs too. Lock. That. Shit. Up.

Braves +1.5

2) Boston at Baltimore +1.5

This Red Sox collapse makes my dick tingle, I love it so much. This is Baltimore's world fucking series tonight and they will do whatever it takes to make the Sawks fans suffer tonight. Plus Bedard has been so incredibly inconsistant, especially pitching in big games that this could be the night that puts the Red Sox to sleep once and for all. If the Orioles were getting 1.5 then I would say this is an absolute lock. Too bad they are the favorite though. Oh wait, they are the underdog and the O's are GETTING a run and a half? Pshh... lock it up you savages. Lets get paid tonight and drink the the Red Sox collapse all but being finalized tonight.

Baltimore +1.5

Tuesday Morning Quarterback: NFL Recap Week 3

Things I took from the NFL games for Week 3

ATL @ TB

- Huge win for TB defending home turf against a tough Falcons team. TB is going to be one of those young squads that will play to their competition--whether good or bad. For ATL, they need to get Michael Turner going or they will never make it out alive in that division.

NYG @ PHI

- Not really sure how the Giants pulled this one off. Oh wait yes I do. Vick was taken out on two crucial drives that eventually lead to Giants touchdowns. Gotta say though, the Giants D looked pretty impressive, lets see if they can keep it going in Arizona this week. As any Giants fan will tell you, it would not be shocking if they get caught in a trap game in Arizona following a huge win in Philly.

NYJ @ OAK

- Cromartie had more flags than he has kids (almost, lets not get carried away here..) and a very suspect running D cost the Jets in this one. He had one stupid, stupid pick but can't really blame Sanchez in this one, dude was a gamer. I think this one just comes down to the fact that maybe Oakland is a little bit better than we think, and the Jets might be a little worse than we thank. Either that or the fact that the Jets didn't give two fucks about Oakland and were looking ahead to Baltimore and New England.

PIT @ IND

- Pit should be embarrassed by the way they played. If they can't blow out Indy, then all I can say is OVERRATED.

GB @ CHI

- For fucks sake, the Bears suck. Green Bay didn't even play all that great and fucked their shit up. Jay Cutler is on the list of Top 5 Bitchiest Girls in America, slightly ahead of ex-girlfriend Kristin Cavalieri.

ARI @ SEA

- Everyone in that division sucks. Not going to waste my time or yours writing about this game.

BAL @ STL

- Gotta love Baltimore's consistancy! Blow out Pit, get stomped by Tennessee, Blow out the Rams...see the pattern here...Go Jets?

KC @ SD

- No one plays down to their competition like San Diego. I don't get this one. I really don't. Why was this game even close? KC lost by a field goal? All I took from this game is San Diego is VERY vulnerable and must be missing Sproals real hard right about now.

NE @ BUF

- Well folks, the Pats are human. Still not sold on Buffalo though, should I be? I bet they still finish 6-10. Either way, look for the Pats to rebound like god damn Dennis Rodman on crack in their next game.

SF @ CIN

- Good effort by Bengals but Andy Dalton is a ginger and we all know that gingers don't have souls. Can't win without soul.

MIA @ CLE

- Miami is much worse than we anticipated and to be honest, I think Cleveland has a decent roster. I'm serious. Even without Hillis they manage to squeak out a 1 point victory! That's impressive. I bet they give Pittsburgh a VERY hard time, whenever they play them.

DEN @ TEN

- Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn

DET @ MIN

- If Detroit can play well for an entire game, I could actually see them taking this division from Green Bay. I'm serious. As long as Stafford stays healthy and doesn't contract HIV from all the ass he's going to be getting the next few weeks, this team could really make some noise.

HOU @ NO

- Whoever has to play Houston in the playoffs is going have a very difficult time. They went pound for pound with the Saints, a phenomenal hometeam, and lost on the last drive. WITHOUT FOSTER. Its scary to think about how good they can be if they have him.

JAC @ CAR

- Rained a lot. Newton is blacker better than Gabbert. Thats all I took from that game.

WAS @ DAL

- Cowboys should have won that game easily. Phil Costa must have gotten fucked up at Bentleys before heading down to Dallas for that game because he was pitiful. I don't care if Redskins players were simulating snap counts, that kid cannot play. Romo finally won a playoff game though! Or just an ugly MNF game where their offense wasn't good enough to orchestrate a touchdown. Dallas will get crushed by Detroit next week.

Monday Night Football: Wash @ Dal

It's games like this why we created LockCitySports.

This is LOCK CITY.

Take Dal -3.5 tonight hosting Washington. The Skins are smoke and mirrors babe. Cmon. They suck. Dallas however is having their home opener tonight, I say they win by at least a touchdown. The crowd (plus Rob Ryan) will hold the Skins to about 10 points tonight. In addition, I think that Romo won't finish this game, and even if he does, the lack of Felix Jones and Miles Austin will limit the Cowboy's offense as well. Regardless, look for them to cover the spread and the UNDER.

Cowboys -3.5

UNDER 45.5

Parlay Locks NFL Week 3

These three games tomorrow are three that we both agree you should lock these up and throw away the key.

1) Detroit -3.5 at Minnesota

All American JT Reasons to take this game

1. Stafford, Best, and Calvin Johnson are reminding me of the second coming of Warner, Faulk, and Bruce from those years the Rams were known as 'The Greatest Show on Turf.' There is really no ceiling to these bastards as far as potential. I love this offense and don't think that soft Minnesota defense will have an answer to them.

2. Minnesota is absolutely falling apart. One more shitty game from McNabb and those fans will be calling for Christian Ponder to step in. Which hopefully could be against Detroit this week so that this can turn into the lock of all locks by halftime. McNabb has been absolute shit for the past three years and there is no signs that he is going to be able to pick apart this young, athletic, and hungry defense of the Lions.

3. The only bright spot on Minnesota's offense is Adrian Peterson. Sucks though because that motherfucker has to go up against arguably the best defensive lineman in the NFL and one of the top defensive lines as well. Suh (not even going to bother trying to spell his first name) is going to make Peterson's day hell, and once the running game comes to a hault, Vikings will be forced to put the ball in the air, only helping the Lions' chances of closing this game out early. Give the points and the win.

Sean Sans reasons to take this game

1. Lions are:           4-0 ATS in the last 4 games as the favorite
4-0 ATS in the last 4 games vs the NFC north
4-0 ATS in the last 4 games on field turf

2. Vikings are:        0-5 ATS in the last 5 games as the home underdog

0-5 ATS in the last 5 games vs the NFC north
1-7 ATS in the last 8 games vs teams with winning records

3. The OVER:       OVER for Lions 3-0-1 in last 4 games on the road

OVER for Lions 7-0 in last 7 after holding opp to under 250 passing in previous game

LIONS -3.5

OVER 45 (if you are feeling special today)

2) Miami +2.5 at Cleveland

All-American JT reasons to take this game

1. Cleveland sucks asshole

2. Miami is 0-2 but against the Patriots and a very dangerous Texans squad. Look for them to absolutely go OFF on the Browns to get their first win.

3. Cleveland sucks major asshole, and is favored? Fuck that noise. Miami it is.

Sean Sans reasons to take this game

1. Browns are:   1-5 ATS in the last 6 overall games

1-5 ATS in the last 6 games against the AFC
0-5 ATS in the 5 home games

2. Dolphins are:  9-2 ATS in the last 11 games as a road underdog

8-2 ATS in the last 10 road games
11-5 ATS in the last 16 games as the underdog

3. Look for rookie Daniel Thomas to have a great game and assert himself as the #1 running back in miami. Hes explosive and runs hard between the tackles unlike his backup Reggie "wont ever play a full season" Bush .This will also allow Chad Henne some time in the pocket and open up the play action. Fish last year were great on the road but terrible at home. Look for history to repeat itself.

Miami +2.5

3) Pittsburgh -11 at Indianapolis

All-American JT reasons to take this game

1. I know the spread is a little much than most of us like to take, but I've been thinking about it for like 45 hours and I cannot come up with one way the Colts will be able to score on this team. Not one. Can't score=cant win. And probably can't cover as well.

2. Girls from Indianapolis are busted as fuck, which means Ben Rapelisberger won't have to force any Indy sluts into the bathroom, which in turn is going to make him focused and hungry. Before a good sporting event you always gotta build up some sexual frustration, don't release that shit into the girl but use that as extra energy in the sport? You know? No? Oh, maybe that was just me back in 6th grade little league. ANYWAY.. trust me, this tactic works. Just watch Big Ben and the Steelers tomorrow, you'll see what I'm talking about.

3. Peyton Manning isn't playing. Boom, case closed. Don't worry Kerry Collins, I'll pray for you. Maybe rip a shot for you, you alcoholic bastard.

Sean Sans reasons to take this game

1. Colts are:            1-6 ATS in the last 7 home games
0-4 ATS in the last 4 games overalll
0-7 ATS in the last 7 games vs the AFC

2. Steelers are:        5-0 ATS in the last 5 games as the favorite

4-0 ATS in the  last 4 games vs teams with losing record
4-0 ATS in the last 4 games in the month of SEPT

3. OVER:              in PIT is 5-0 in last 5 games vs AFC, OVER in PIT is 6-0 in last 6 games following an ATS WIN
OVER in IND is 5-1 in last 6 games following an ATS LOSS, OVER in IND is 4-1 in last 5 games as underdog

Steelers -11
OVER 39 (again, don't LOVE the over, but can't argue against the stats..)

All-American JT Honorable Mention Locks for Week 3

I love the three other picks that Sean Sans loves too, so get your tissues out for when I post them. You're gonna jizz everywhere. Here are a couple other picks I like, just not necessarily as much as the Jets or the three other picks that are yet to come out.

1) Jacksonville +3.5 at Carolina

Do you remember that really bad kid on your little league team? Well if you don't remember that kid, chances are he was you. But seriously, that kid is the equivalent of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL. They have no business of even being on the field. And quite frankly, I don't think Carolina is that great and really have no idea what to make out of Cam Newton yet, but hes just way too swaggerlicious (spellcheck couldn't help me on that one) and there's no way that the Jags can keep this within a field goal. No way. Carolina could be a 6-10, maybe 7-9 team. Jacksonville is going 2-14 MAYBE. Not quite my ultimate lock of the week, but if you are going to touch this game, you gotta go Carolina at home.

Panthers -3.5

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2) Arizona -3.5 at Seattle

I've been high as a motherfucker on Arizona all year. Hey man, they've covered both times for me and I ain't quitting on them now! How can you? Gotta be loyal to your squad. Do the right thing. And if you don't know what the "right thing" is, then ask yourself this: "Is Seattle going to win this game?" -NO "Is Seattle going to lose be less than 3 points?" -NO. Kolb and Fitz get better every week, I'm loving the chemistry these two have. Add that with the fact that Seattle is an absolute disaster and I think this is one of the safer bets you can take this week.

Arizona -3.5

Sean Sans Honorable Mention NFL Locks for Week 3

Yesterday Sean Sans and I posted our lock of the week going into Week 3 of the NFL. Just a reminder, every Friday we will post our locks for the upcoming week. Then Saturday our two honorable mentions, or runner-ups, if you will, for lock of the week will get posted. Finally later that Saturday 3 locks that we BOTH agree on will be posted.

Got it? Sick.

Sean Sans Honorable Mentions  Lock for Week 3
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lets talk about a great game this week, one that if done right could be very profitable. If any of you out there took the EAGLES last week, sign off your computer right now. Go outside to your car, park it in the garage and let that baby purrrrr. Are you kidding me??? Does anybody want to tell me how ATL did at home last year?? DING DING DING... 7-1 . THE NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS on the other hand took care off business this week and ruining Spags first trip to the new JETlife stadium. The GMEN are so banged up on both sides of the ball they had there 5year $37million prized saftey Antrel Rolle playin nickel back!!!!

Game 1)             PHI VS NYG

Giants-        1-5 ATS in the last 6 games vs the NFC east
1-4 ATS in the last 5 road games
1-4 ATS in the last 5 games overall
0-4 ATS in the last 4 games played on grass

Eagles-        5-0 ATS in the last 5 games in week 3
4-1 ATS in the last 5 games as a favorite of 3.5-10

Michael Vick has been cleared for take off this week and is going to take advantage of a real hurting Giants defense. They are going to bring pressure which should lead to some great rush yards for Vick. This game is going to be a fucking shootout, the G-Men should have the backfield go for a 100 a piece. This is a great way to continue a great division rivalry in a new building. Last time the G-Men hosted PHI Desean Jackson almost caused Coughlin to stroke the fuck out and pre-meditate murdering Matt Dodge.

Eagles -9
Over 48
(over  is 10-3 in Giants last 13 NFC east games, over is 11-4 in the last 15 Eagles games overall)

Ready for the spice!!
Action Reverse - PHI -9/over 48

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Instead of trying to explain to your girl why you dont have the rent or the car payment, how about telling to keep her money and go shopping because "YOU GOT THIS." Its that easy, now pour a drink, light a smoke and shut the fuck up and listen.

Game 2)   BAL VS ST LOUIS

As many of you found out last week, the Ravens are human. Not making excuses but after raping the Steelers the way they did Week 1, I was pretty sure they were going to take a shit Week 2 against a Titans team that is suspect to say the least. I stayed away and thank the LOCKCITY SPORTS god I did. Raise of hands how many of you took that game in the ass? Whether it was big wager or going 3 of 4 in your parlay, the Ravens owe us one and here it is ladys and gents!

Ravens-     5-1 ATS in the last 6 games following a ATS loss
4-1 ATS in the last 5 games against teams with a losing home record
4-1 ATS in the last 5 games as the road favorite

Rams-      1-4 ATS in the last 5 games as an underdog
1-5 ATS in the last 6 overall games

Look for Ray Rice to be running and scoring all over Spags' defense as the superior team definetly will win this battle.Whether Stephen Jackson plays or not ,the only running aspect of the the Rams team will be Bradford, running for his FUCKING life! The ravens defense was embrassed last week in the Music City and expect Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and company to be fired up and hungry to get that game out of their system.

Ravens -4

Over 42    (Bal OVER IS 4-0 following a loss the previous week, STL OVER is 4-1-1 when the Rams are underdogs)

NFL Lock of Week 3

Jets -3.5 at Raiders. Anyone, ANYONE, that is high on the Raiders is just flat out high. Period. Lets dissect their two wins shall we? First they beat Denver who quite frankly, I'm pretty sure the Georgetown women's field hockey program could throw on some pads and and squeak away with s 17-14 victory. Then they go to Buffalo, get like a 10 touchdown lead and LOSE!? Yeah I am REAL scared about the Oakland Raiders covering this spread.

Lets be real people. The Jets have a bunch of question marks on their team and I'll be the first to admit that. Especially with Mangold out for what seems to be 2 maybe 3 games, I understand why people are hesitant on this one. Actually that was a lie, I have no fucking clue why anyone would pick Oakland in this game. Plus, I heard the Jets already stocked up on Hebrew Nationals for Sanchez. If that ain't a sign of a foreseen victory, I don't know what the hell is. Everyone knows Sanchez is 1-0 while eating hotdogs during the game. Thats an undefeated record. He thrives on hotdogs. What a true New Yorker. Probably an illegal alien which makes him the truest of true New Yorkers.
Real Talk. Oakland won't be able to score on this team. Sorry. Can't see it happening. LOCK. THIS. SHIT. UP.

Jets -3.5

LockCitySports.com

For those of you that don't know, we are moving to a new website hopefully by the middle of next week.

LockCitySports.com

Remember that shit.

In addition I'd like to welcome Sean Sans to the team as the two of us will be running the Lock City Sports empire like you wouldn't fucking believe. Shits about to get WILD so buckle the fuck up! He brings more of an analytical approach to picking, for those of you out there that lean that way.

Before each NFL week, he will be posting his lock and I will post mine as well for that week. Also we will have three picks that we both love, maybe parlay that shit for those of you that dream big. Heres Sean Sans's first lock for Week 3 of the NFL.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Listen up Lock City Sports fans, got some some picks you're going to love. Take them and thank me later!!!! With the help of LOCKCITY SPORTS, you'll be able to enjoy sports the way it was suppose to be..... DRUNK AND PAID!!! Enough of me, grab your favorite drink and lets GET WET.

Game 1)    CIN VS SAN FRAN
If any of you feel like this game might be a crap shoot, I don't blame you. The mistake that most people make is falling in love with teams. I know the Bengals do not deserve our faith and the 49ers D is full of studs lead by Patrick Willis but this does not mean that the 49ers are going to win the game or cover the spread. Lets take a look at what I mean...

49ers-    1-6-3 in last 10 games as a road underdog of  0.5-3.0
0-3-1 in last 4 games as an underdog
0-7-2 in last 9 games as an underdog of   0.5-3.0

Bengals- 4-0 ATS in last 4 SEPT games
5-0 ATS in last 5 overall games
6-0 ATS in last 6 week 3 games

After watching AJ Green have his pre coming out party last week in Denver, I would expect Andy Dalton to go right back to him this week. It is only a matter before the gold miners start calling for Alex Smith head.... again!!! PS the public is on the 49ers, thats why LockCity is the place to get ready for this weeks actions. C'MON MAN the public never wins, bungles fans put the paper bags away for one more week.

Bengals -2.5

OVER 40.5 (Over is 4-0 in 49ers last 4 games, Over is 4-1 in Cin last 5 home games)

UFC 135 Picks for Tomorrow

Listen, I don't know the first thing about MMA. I used to play the UFC video game and I was fucking DIRTY at it. That's as far as my expertise goes. But I was looking at the matchups for tomorrows event and I saw Matt Hughes and Rampage Jackson are fighting (not eachother, but other dudes I had never heard of since they weren't in the video game). Hughes and Jackson are both underdogs though! Can you believe that shit!? I don't know, maybe they suck? Hmm, well they didn't in the video game. Truth be told I could have been Andy Dick and still put a wooping on people in the octagon if you hand me the sticks on Xbox. I'm thinking of taking both of them in a parlay for tomorrow. And just so you guys know how much of a steal this could potentially be, if you put down $100 and parlay both of them to win, you get paid $2,038. Thats ridiculous. Now again, I don't know shit about the UFC these days but if its anything like the video game, I'm about to win 2 grand tomorrow. Jump on the bandwagon.

MLB for 9/23

First game up is BlueJays at Rays -1.5. Any team thats fighting for a playoff spot is going to get the edge come this time of the year. Especially a team that just put up 15 runs against the greatness that is the New York Yankees. I know the Yanks weren't really trying but that type of scoring usually starts to put hitters in a good rhythm. Plus Price is pitching. #nobrainer

I know, I know. Its just that Eva Longoria is sexier than Evan Longoria.
Anyone have a problem with that? Didn't think so.

Rays -1.5

A's at Angels. Same principle applies to the Angels here. They need to win this game to stay in the hunt for the wildcard. See, this pick would be a no-brainer if Weaver was pitching. That guy is just nasty. If he were pitching tonight I think I would even bet my dog on this game.

Oh he is pitching?

Sorry Daisy. You were a great pup. Don't worry I'll get you back after Weaver buttfucks the Athletics tonight.

Angles -1.5

Last game is Cubs at Cardinals -1.5. All three wildcard teams rocking tonight. Except Boston because they are a bunch of bed-wetting sissies. Honestly though, St. Louis is creeping heavily on the Braves and this could be one of those game that they come out there, stick it to the Cubs, and build momentum for a serious playoff run here. Carpenter on the mound, all is good in St. Louis. Budweisers on you after this victory.

Cardinals -1.5

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKS FOR SATURDAY

There are four games I will be betting winning this wonderful Saturday. Right now I've hit 2/3 of the games I've bet this month. That's right. Yo motha.

First game is the UNDER at 48 of the Kansas St vs Miami game. I already posted my reasoning yesterday.

Second game I will be taking is Florida State +2.5 at Clemson. I completely understand that it is tough to win on the road ANYWHERE, and ask Auburn if it was easy for them to hold a lead in that hostile environment. But come on people, FSU would be moonwalking into the National Championship if they had beaten Oklahoma. And they are getting points in this one? Forget the fact that Clemson is overrated. If Auburn wasn't just as overrated, the Tigers would have blown them out. This FSU team is for real. Take FSU and the points. In fact, pick up the phone and dial 9-1-1 to report a rape in advance. This game could get ugly.

Florida State +2.5

Next up is Ohio +4 at Rutgers. I'm 100% going with the Scarlet Knights in this one. Rutgers has had 2 weeks to prepare for this game after almost beating a very, very good North Carolina squad. The fans have been waiting for a reason to tailgate, crush Nattys, rip shots of Zelko, and scream their faces off for Rutgers football. I'm expecting at least a 10 point Rutgets victory in this one.

Rutgers -4

The last game is going to be an epic high scoring affair that will come down to the wire. Oklahoma St +4 at Texas A&M. If OKST wide receiver Justin Blackmon was in the NFL, he would be one of the top 6 or 7 in the game. No joke. This cat can fucking BALL. I just think OKST is a better team at the end of the day and although A&M is at home and those fans will be rowdy, I don't think all of them at once could even come close to covering Blackmon.

And Blackmon likes to get fucked up? Psh NO BRAINER! He will probably stop by the Rutgers tailgate then before he plays A&M. Hey whatever works homeboy.

Oklahoma State +4

COLLEGE FOOTBALL THURSDAY

God damnit I love college football. Tonight we got NC State +7 at Cincinnati. There is no sport on the entire planet that gives home field advantage like college football. None. You got 50,000 drunk, ruthless frat bros and sexy little college minxes cheering their asses off in the stands like no other. And a Thursday night? Dude, Thursday night in college is like Friday and Saturday night rolled into one. Which is the first reason I'm going to be taking Cincinnati.

Reasons:

1. Thursdays in college are stupid wild. NC State won't know what hit them.

2. NC State lost on the road to a subpar Wake Forest team and quite frankly, I don't think they can respond with a tough road game in Cincinnati.

3. Cincinnati's only loss so far was at Tennessee, and it wasn't even a blow out. Which means they had the balls to go into an SEC stadium that holds 120,000 and play fearless football. Plus they had 2 blowouts against JV football programs which just tells me that their offense is completely tuned up and ready to roll all over the Wolfpack.

Cincinnati -7

MLB for 9/22

Do you think the Phillies can bend me over and fuck me 3 nights in a row? Listen, I understand Philadelphia is a scummy piece of shit city, but for Christ sake are they seriously going to get swept by the Nationals? My bet is no. My bet is that they come out there tonight and stick it to the Nationals harder than shit you would see in a bondage porno. Lets go Oswalt, grow some stones son. Moneyline that shit hard.

Phillies -185

Second baseball game I'm taking tonight is the LA Angels -122 against the Blue Jays. Angels are hungry for the playoffs, and despite the fact that Ervin Santana looks like a complete asshole with a chinstrap beard, he's got some nasty stuff. Not in the mood to give the Blue Jays any runs so I'll take them moneyline and probably parlay them with the Phils game. Do the same you savages.

By the way, you have to be some kind of douchebag to rock a chinstrap right? Aren't they illegal? No? Psh..fuckin' Obama.. Make that happen, would ya please??

Angels -122

Sneak Peak for College Football Picks

I know I said I would post my college football picks tomorrow, which I will, but I had to give everyone a little preview of my mortal locks for Saturday. Just the tip. Just to see how it feels..

Kansas St at Miami. Over/Under is currently at 48 points, PUT YOUR MORTGAGE ON THE UNDER.  You might be thinking, "Dude, why should I be so confident to do such a thing?"

Great question. Here's why:

1. Miami has covered the under in 7 out of their last 10 games, and held Ohio St to just 6 points last game.

2. Kansas St has covered the under in their last 4 games for the month of September.

3. Because I am rarely, rarely wrong. And you know that.

So under it is, and to be honest, I'm still taking the under even if it moves to like 44 points. 48 points is generous. Don't disappoint me, do the right thing. There will be less points in this game than the number of coked out hookers at the U of Miami victory party following the game.

Early MLB 9/22

Cards couldn't cover last night but in a tight playoff race, you bet your ass they will this afternoon with Jake Westbrook on the mound. He's such bro.

Cardinals -1.5

Mariners -1.5 at Twins. Quite frankly I know both teams kind of suck but the Twins literally (LITERALLY) are starting 7 minor leaguers today. Blake Beavan is going to emerge as a young stud, and since he won't be challenged by Mauer or Morneau toda, look for him to thrive. THRIVE I TELL YOU!

Mariners -1.5

Good Luck betting you savages..

MLB for 9/21

Atlanta +1.5 at Florida. Just like last night, LOVE it when Atlanta is getting runs against an inferior team like the Marlins. Again, Marlins have spunk, but D-Lowe and the Braves should be able to get the win here. If they don't win, they sure as hell will still cover. Hotlanta it is.

Atlanta +1.5

----

Mets +1.5 at Cardinals. People often ask me, "How do you have such a great record in baseball this year?" I always respond with the same answer, "Bet the mortgage against those pathetic Mets." Especially against the Cardinals, a hungry wildcard seeking team. Bet the Cards, give the Mets a run and a half, and watch King Pujols and Co. mash their way to an 8-2 victory.

Cardinals -1.5

------

Giants -110 at Dodgers. Is Kershaw pitching for the Dodgers tonight? No? Ok, Giants moneyline it is.

Giants -110
